Free gifts don't cost anything except a few clicks.(If you turn in 400 and then the quest ends before you finish, you lose those 400 fiddly bits) That way, If you don't finish the Science Boom quest this time, it will be easy to finish it next time it comes around. Don't turn in event-quest fiddly bits until you have 100% of the fiddly bits needed for a quest step.Plus, there a quest to build it, and a quest to collect income from it after you build it so it's much cheaper than it appears. It's one of the best income buildings for a low-level player, and you'll need it for quests later. If you're thinking about buying land, it may be a good idea to wait for a sale. 20% off coin, and 30% off crystal purchases. There's a land-sale every two weeks (approximately). If you're doing a major quest, read about it on this wikia.Down near the bottom, there's an option for "purchase for crystals with no confirmation" - uncheck that option. Click on the Head in the upper left of your screen.Turn off "Purchase for crystals with no confirmation".As a side note, my favorite non-beach destination is GDL.another Latin American destination where the city itself is the destination with inexpensive transportation and hotel options. It also has a nice mix of locals and tourists-PVR is (or can be) the destination itself unlike somewhere like BZE where nearly everyone suggests leaving on a boat or plane to "somewhere else" after arrival.that is just too costly and time consuming particularly if I'm just there for a long weekend. Just out of curiosity, do people on the West Coast do beach trips to Cancún? I would think they'd be more likely to go to the resorts on Mexico's Pacific coast, but then again I've never really thought about it.As a West Coaster, when it comes to Latin America destinations, it really is more about the "vibe" and logistics than distance.PVR is always my first and favorite choice partially due to the ease (and low cost) of transportation when you arrive.you can be sitting at the hotel pool or on the beach shortly after you land. Tourists want Cancún, flights to CUN are generally cheaper, and if you really want to get to Mérida, you can take a bus from CUN and it's not that long of a ride. But I doubt that's high on the list, especially from the West Coast.
